Our Story

For over a decade, Rochelle has built her career crafting bold and memorable brands—directing creative projects and helping businesses bring their vision to life through design, storytelling and strategy.

But eventually, she felt a pull beyond the studio.

In 2024, Rochelle packed up her life and moved north, drawn to life on the land and a deep, enduring love of horses. What began as a personal journey quickly became an opportunity to bring together two worlds she had always loved: creative storytelling and horses.

Working alongside horse trainers, breeders and rural businesses, she now produces media, visual storytelling and brand direction for the equine and western world.

Alongside this, Rochelle has spent time working closely with several mentors across Queensland and New South Wales, learning different approaches, gaining hands-on experience, and taking what resonated to develop her own feel with horses.

Through that process, she began to recognise how much the work was shaping her understanding of herself.

And she wanted to hear the stories of those who had found the same connection, which led to the creation of the Open Range Podcast. A space to share stories of connection, growth, and the lessons found through the herd.

Open Range is now evolving into a space for horse-led clinics and retreats — designed for people to experience the connection, awareness and growth that comes from working with horses.

Because some of life’s most important work doesn’t happen behind closed doors. It happens in the open. On the range. With the heartbeat of the herd.
